Another Great Passage!

This spoke to me this morning and I thought I'd share it with you.Taken from a prayer request (written by Marion Ingegneri) for one of our friends who in the middle of a fierce battle right now.

In 2 Kings 6:8-23 we read of Elisha’s response when the King of Syria sends a great army to capture Elisha because of Elisha’s prophetic words to the Israelites. Elisha’s servant rises in the morning to see a great army of Syrians surrounding the city. Elisha does not pray for a miracle. He only prays that the eyes of his servant would be open to see that God had already sent a greater army with chariots of “fire” to overcome the Syrians and protect Elisha. My prayer is that we will “SEE” what God is doing and respond accordingly.

“And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17
