Last week we had our first "at home" ultrasound. It was great to be comfortable and have my family all around me. Little Marshmallow sat right next to me a lot of the time. Here's what the experience was like. This is what a portable machine screen looks like. There were a lot of other wires and do hickeys laying around and it did take them (a team of 2) about 10 minutes to set it all up.
We all got to watch the ultrasound on the T.V. . A treat for the kiddos since they've not really been so "invited" to viewing an ultrasound before. They've been to an ultrasound before, but didn't have so great a view.
Another thing we really enjoyed was the our tech told us what was going on and explained parts and pictures to all the kids. Very neat. I'm not quite sure how I'd have felt if there had been something wrong, but as far as we could tell, there were no problems.
I just cozied up on our couch.
